Computer Control Systems Engineering Research and Design S.A. (CCS) designs, implements and supports integrated IT solutions. CCS’s core value is to provide high quality products and services, which fully satisfy the requirements of its customers.

The Management issues this Quality Policy to declare absolute commitment to:

  • Delivering consistently great customer service and state-of-the-art products
  • Satisfying customer’s requirements and expectations
  • Creating high reliability products and services
  • Embracing innovation and enhancing her portfolio by providing new services
  • Promoting the adoption and use of best practices
  • Compliance with relevant laws and regulations as well as other requirements
  • Continuously improving the efficiency of the company’s operations.

To achieve the above, the Management has designed, implemented and continuously focusing towards the improvement of an Integrated Management System. This system takes into consideration the quality standards in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485:2016, as well as the Ministerial Decision DY8d/Goik/1348 ”Principles and Guidelines of Good Practice for the Distribution of Medical Technological Products” to ensure that all the requirements regarding the development of Medical Informatics products are met.

The company ensures that the following are provided:

  • The resources and means required to provide products / services of a defined quality
  • Organized operating framework
  • Internal standards for consistent quality products and services and secure information management.
  • Work environment suitable for business activities.
  • Modern and secure methodologies for project development and management.

To achieve the above, the Management ensures that:

  • The Quality Policy is understandable and applied at all levels of the Company’s organization
  • The Integrated Management System operates efficiently and covers constantly its purpose
  • The Integrated Management System gets inspected periodically to measure its effectiveness and take necessary actions if required.
  • All parties adhere to the procedures of the Integrated Management System and contribute to its continuous consolidation and improvement.

SECURE INFORMATION MANAGEMENT POLICY

The goal of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) is to ensure the business continuity of CCS with a scope covering the Design, development, installation, and support of IT products and integrated information management software solutions in the healthcare sector. At the same time, it aims to minimize the operational impact of information security risks through systematic management, mitigation, treatment, and the prevention of security incidents. 

The purpose of this policy is to protect the company’s information systems and all its information assets from external and internal risks, as well as from malicious and/or accidental threats. It also focuses on the distinct needs and requirements of the healthcare sector regarding the security of medical information, protecting the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information through the design and development of secure applications. This ensures that such information remains accurate and unaltered, is protected from unauthorized access, and is available when required for healthcare provision.

The Top Management of the company and the Information Security Officer (ISO) have approved and are committed to the implementation of this policy and the effective operation of the ISMS.
The Information Security Policy ensures the following actions:

  • Managed information will be secured against any unauthorized access.
  • The confidentiality of managed information will be continuously verified.
  • The integrity of managed information will be maintained.
  • The availability of business processes concerning managed information will be maintained.
  • All foreseen legal and regulatory requirements will be complied with.
  • A systematic approach to identifying, assessing, and treating information security risks will be applied.
  • Business continuity plans concerning managed information will be continuously prepared, developed, and tested.
  • The necessary resources regarding the training of all company personnel concerning the application of the ISMS will be committed.
  • All potential and actual information security incidents will be reported in all cases to the Information Security Officer (ISO) with the aim of activating all foreseen corrective and preventive actions.
  • The ISMS processes, including threat measurements, are implemented to demonstrate the proper application of this Policy.
  • The Management of CCS is committed to providing all required resources for the implementation and effective operation of the ISMS.
  • The principle of continual improvement of the ISMS will be applied, through regular reviews, internal audits, and corrective actions.
  • It is the duty and contribution of all CCS personnel to review and verify this policy for its continued suitability.

HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY

Computer Control Systems Engineering Research and Design S.A. (CCS) which designs, implements and supports integrated IT solutions envisions a safe and healthy work environment for its employees, customers and partners.

The Management issues this Health & Safety Policy to declare absolute commitment to:

  • Providing safe and healthy working conditions to prevent accidents and occupational diseases
  • Compliance with legislation and other guidance
  • Eliminating Health & Safety risks
  • Minimizing the risk of Health and Safety at work
  • Continuously improving the effectiveness of the Health & Safety Management System
  • Consultation with workers and ensuring their active participation in the achievement of a safe and healthy working environment without restrictions and discrimination
  • Making all the resources needed to maintain the Health & Safety Management System available

In order to achieve the above, the Management designs, implements and continuously improves an Integrated Management System that includes Health & Safety procedures in accordance with the requirements of ISO 45001:2018 and aims to:

  • Minimize accidents at work
  • Prevent wounding
  • Monitor the procedures along with all the members of staff
  • Educate and raise awareness among the company’s employees and partners about Health and Safety at work.

In order to achieve the above, the Management ensures that:

  • The Health & Safety Policy is understood, implemented and adhered to at all levels of the Company’s organization.
  • The Health & Safety Policy is available and communicated to all interested parties
  • The effectiveness of the Integrated Management System is periodically checked in order to ensure its suitability and take the necessary corrective actions if needed.
  • All parties adhere to the procedures of the Integrated Management System and contribute to its continuous consolidation and improvement.
