The Medical Informatics department of C.C.S having accumulated many years of know-how, is the leader in the Greek Medical Informatics sector with hundreds installed systems of various sizes in the private and public health sector. Today there are over 70 systems installed in public hospital laboratories and many hundreds in the private sector. The installed systems cover a broad range of various medical specialities. There are available over 15 simple and flexible software products for patient file support, for various specialities, mainly for private sector doctors.
In the medical laboratory domain C.C.S has numerous products which can cover the needs starting from simple private microbiological laboratory up to the total laboratory sector of big hospitals. The major principle of these systems is that they can manage all the requirements of a laboratory from blood collection up to analysis results delivering.
The embedded capability of data acquisition with various brands of biochemical, haematological, microbiological, and other automatic diagnostic systems and the automatic update of data bases with results arriving form the automatic analysis is one of the major features of our systems. Over 160 models of various brands are supported. This feature along with the reliability of the supporting software has given C.C.S a leader role in the Greek medical software market.
Furthermore features such as the use of bar-codes for the automatic identification of patients samples, quality control procedures, embedded expert system for automatic report creation based on specific parametric rules, and the voice recognition system for the use of our software with oral commands are indicative of the technological advantages of our LIS systems. Extra middleware modules permit transparent real time data exchange between LIS and other Hospital Information Systems (HIS) or MIS that exist in each Hospital.
The Engineering Software and Services Department activities concern the interactive design and analysis engineering tools. The fields of our interest range from fundamental research up to delivering sophisticated software products to the European market. Our experienced human workforce and the up-to-date software and hardware equipment provide a high technology infrastructure for delivering products and services of the highest quality.
